Beautiful Snowy PA

We had a HUGE snowstorm on Friday night into Saturday afternoon. We wound up with about a foot of snow and cold blowing wind. It was awesome. I just knew it would be a hard winter at some point and this is obviously the week for it.

We have another foot of snow coming in Tuesday night to Wednesday morning, so I am fixin for the kids to be off on Wednesday!

My friend and I took Maddy out on the snowmobiles on Saturday. It was her first time riding one. The roads were so snowy that we drove the sleds right down them!

We went about 10 miles and Maddy had no idea where we were until she saw the church. She just took in all the snow and fun of being on one. Needless to say though she didn't want to ride with mommy, only Jayson. It was awesome and I wish so much I would have taken pics. But I didn't. I'll take some this week as mother nature is bringing more tomorrow!

Robby is doing well and had a good weekend too. I don't take him out in this snow because I just don't want to risk him getting any more colds. He looks so sad though when he stands at the door and watches Maddy. It just breaks my heart. Maybe I should try to take him out and see if he likes it. I don't know. I will see if any of my friends have a snowsuit I can borrow. I hate to buy one and then he hates the cold... he is so sensitive.

He is doing really well on the seizure front and I am crossing my fingers as I type this that it stays that way. I think my mom was nervous when I left with Maddy to go sledding on Saturday. When I called to check on him she said "Don't worry I'll call 911 if anything happens" I felt bad but knew he would be OK and that my mom could handle it.

I needed those 2 hours with Maddy like you can't imagine!

Please Mother Nature don't let us down, bring more snow so we can play!!
