Well I am still pretty sick and have not been able to keep food down for over a week. Thankfully the zofran works when I can keep that down! So I have finally made the decision to see the GI doc. It only took me 8 years to make the appt!
I think the deciding factor was Sunday night when I was laying in bed in excruciating pain. Just to give you an insight to how painful it was lets just say the stomach cramps were worse than contractions during childbirth! I then proceeded to get sick for most of the night. This is all on top of the poor lung function right now too. So I am frustrated. I turned 30 on Monday and I am determined to make the next decade better than the last :)
Robby is doing really well. We have exciting news. We are trying to get the insurance to cover Robby so that he can go to Good Shepard Rehabilitation Hospital inpatient for 2-4 weeks to start and if the insurance covers it and he does well he can stay there for even longer. Dr. Kuchinski the physical medicine doc feels that Robby is understanding more and enough to live there and start intense therapy! He is sidestepping up the stairs at home now instead of crawling. It is really amazing! He will stay there 24/7 and parents can sleep over but siblings cannot. Madison can visit though after school. This is a really amazing thing and hopefully by the end of the summer Robby will be walking on his own and more independent. He will recieve OT/PT/Speech and feeding therapy!
Oh please Choiceplus just cover this one thing for us! We really need this more than you as an insurance company will ever know! Keeping our fingers crossed! :)
I am waiting for the day when he just walks!

I can't imagine how you care for your 2 kids while feeling the way you do...yikes!
I will be praying Robby can get into this living facility. Sounds like it will "take him place" and that is amazing!
