I am finally feeling better...must be because my Philadelphia Flyers won the Eastern Conference last night! Hence the reason for the title! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME GET TICKETS????
I dont' t have much money but could only imagine the look on Maddy's face if her and I could do a mommy/ Maddy day at a Stanley cup game!
LET'S GO FLYERS !!!!! LET'S GO FLYERS !!!!!
Robby is good, the extreme heat is starting to bother him... It should only be this hot for a few more days. It looks like the weekend will be in the 70's. Currently it is 80 something and it is almost 11 p.m. :)
This weather kills us both. I had the worst muscle cramps this morning and I'm pretty sure it was the heat.
I haven't heard much more on the Skilled Nursing other than our medicaid should cover it. Our primary will deny it for sure but the secondary should take care of it.
We have't had our aide in a while so today I woke up with Robby late and rushed like a crazy lady to get him fed and dressed in 15 minutes for school. I than hustled my butt to get off to work. I have so much to catch up on from being sick so I wanted to get in early. That didn't work quite as planned.
At 12:15 p.m. as I was making my small salad in the cafeteria at work I got a phone call. "Ms. Prohaska?" "yes?", I replied "The bus driver is at your house and there is no one here for Robby, are you on your way?" "Oh NO!" "I can be there in 15 minutes!" I said.
Yep, I forgot all about my little boy and never got any one to come to my house to get him off of the bus after school! I totally forgot. As this conversation was going on my manager looked up from his lunch with a very annoyed glare and I thought great now what do I do?!
I guess there is a first time for everything but I couldn't believe I forgot! I felt horrible, thankfully I have a great neighobor who also has two special needs kids that go to school with Maddy and I quick called her. She rushed over to my house all at the same time as the transport team from the daycare arrived to pick him up! I forgot that the transport team was on their way from daycare and then i felt bad for putting my poor neighbor into a panick mode.... sigh..... So thank you Melissa for being there for me lately! I don't know what I would do without you!
Thankfully she is the most understanding mother because she lives with the same stress everyday and is the most helpful, bestest special needs girlfriend I have had in a long time. So everything worked out and Robby just got off the bus and went straight to daycare. I have a feeling the bus driver is going to chew my head off in the morning. Oh well! What can I do, I told the bus company I was sorry about a 100 times.
Just another day in the life of Robby's mom.
Now I got to get some sleep so hopefully I have a clearer head in the morning!
