Sick and tired of being sick!

Yep It's that time of year, miserable weather and sick Kids! What a great combination!

At least i can say here that Madison is feeling better! She went back to school yesterday and is excited that there is a little snow coming!

Robby didn't seem right throughout the night but he also did not have a fever so I sent him to daycare. I have missed so much work between surgeries and yesterday Robby also had a 3 hour allergy test which left him miserable and with lots of sticks in his back and arms! Ouchie! I had no choice to send him, but two hours later I got the "he threw up please come get him" phone call! What a day.

I was so busy at work with my manager and some events that it was not good timing.... but then again, what is good timing?!
He is with dad and is fine now. I have no idea but Maddy was sick like this in the beginning of the week with a bug so I can't rule it out just yet!
This morning I was sent a link from our department media manager about a little boy with a rare disease called FOP, or Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva His name is Josh and as I was watching the video I was realizing that this is the little boy at Robby's medically skilled daycare that he enjoys playing with!

I am pasting the link below, please view it. His disease is rare and genetic also. He is an amazing boy! And his parents are really special people too! His mom actually works here at my hospital. Funny how you can connect with other families going through simimlar things. Please keep Josh and his family in your prayers and check out his story here:

Oh and GO PHILLIES and YANKEES! Robby and I love watching baseball together! This is the best time of the year as our two favorite teams are in the playoffs!
